In this course, the learner is required to identify the roles and responsibilities required by the Tunnel Flood Team (TFT) and learn the usage of essential dewatering equipment such as pumps and hoses.
My Role and Challenges

I was tasked to produce an eLearning course with 2 modules consisting of the Roles & Responsibilities of the Tunnel Flood Team and the Usage of Essential Dewatering Equipment. I teamed up with my colleague who is a 3D artist. He helped to produce the 3D dewatering pump for module 2.

I developed the storyboard, the overall look, and the layout of the whole course. I've thought of how to portray the pump into the eLearning. I did my research and luckily I found an alternative way to make it look like it was interactable. But clearly, it was just manipulation. I'm sharing with you the tutorial on how I did it. Pay it forward ;)

I worked with my 3D artist on this. This is the portion of the interactive 3D pump.
The Outcome

My manager and the instructional designer were impressed by this initiative. They weren't expecting an interactive pump. It was the first time they saw this kind of interaction. And the timeline of the project wasn't compromised. The course was great and it was launched a month after the approval.
